The ferula is the pastoral staff in the United Roman-Ruthenian Church used by the Prince-Bishop of Rome-Ruthenia. Sometimes it is carried by a chamberlain.
It consists of a gold staff surmounted by a cross or crucifix. It is the Prince-Bishop's version of a crosier carried by bishops.
