The
Patriarchal Office of State is responsible for the administration of
the titular temporal patrimony of the Stato Pontificio (United Roman-Ruthenian Church) under the provisions of
international law pertaining to customs of sovereign entities. It
operates as part of the Pontifical Secretariat.
