CLERICAL AFFILIATION AND MINISTRY AGREEMENT
OF THE
UNITED ROMAN-RUTHENIAN CHURCH This
Agreement establishes the terms under which N., as a clergyman /
religious / postulant, is affiliated with and licensed by the United
Roman-Ruthenian Church (the “Church”) to exercise ministry.
Furthermore, this agreement remains applicable and in force if the
undersigned changes status, e.g., a postulant who is later ordained.
Independent Status. The Cleric / Religious / Postulant acknowledges and
agrees that they serve as an independent minister of religion, not as
an employee of the Holy Apostolic See, any Diocese, or Parish. Clergy /
Religious / Postulant exercise their ministry under their own
responsibility, subject to the ecclesiastical authority of the Church.
Licensing and Affiliation. The Cleric / Religious / Postulant is
granted a license by the Church to exercise sacramental and pastoral
ministry within the jurisdiction of the Church, subject to Canon Law
and the directives of competent ecclesiastical authority.
Civil Law Compliance. The Cleric / Religious / Postulant agrees to
respect and comply with applicable civil laws in the place of ministry,
provided such compliance does not violate the Seal of Confession or
other non-negotiable obligations under Canon Law.
No Employment Relationship. Nothing in this Agreement creates an
employment relationship under civil law. The Cleric / Religious /
Postulant is responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and benefits
unless otherwise agreed separately.
Termination of Affiliation. The Church / Religious / Postulant reserves
the right to suspend or revoke this license in accordance with Canon
Law and the procedures established by competent ecclesiastical
authority.
